Val d’Allos is located in the south of France, in the alpes de haute provence”, 80 kilometers from Digne les Bains and 120 kilometers from Nice.

During winter (from November to may) the col Allos is closed, so you will arrive from south via St André les Alpes.

 

The nearest train station is Thoram and the nearest airport is Nice Côte d’Azur.

 

Just a 2 hr drive from Nice along the scenic valleys of the Var and Verdun valleys, is Faux D'Allos, the bext skiing resort in the south of France. Car hire available in Nice Airport, although a car not necessary. You can train from Nice to Thoram Haute (good service) and short bus ride from there to resort. Walking into Village is 5-10 mins and shops and hotels within yards of balcons de soleil.

 

Best driving route is via St-andre-les Alpes. Take your time and enjoy majestic scenary, stop in any of the quaint towns on route for coffee.

 

BY BUS

Shuttle from Thoram, Digne les Bains to Val d’Allos, by bus, twice a day (one in the morning and one in the afternoon)

TRAIN AND BUS

High speed train to Marseille and bus shuttle to Val d’Allos, every saturday, from mid-december until mid-april.
